The Opportunity:
n
Our Sign, Display & Digital department, dedicated to creating impactful visual solutions for our clients is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Field Technician to join our dynamic team. Display & Digital team based in Brendale, QLD.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
Reporting directly to the National Service Manager – Equipment & Service – Sign, Display & Digital, your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Install, commission, service, maintain and repair a range of digital print, finishing and production equipment.
n
- Install, maintain and troubleshoot CNC Router and Laser Cutter equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
n
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and electronic faults on a variety of equipment.
n
- Install, configure and support associated software and workflow solutions.
n
- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
n
- Work collaboratively with the Service Coordinator, OEM partners and vendors to identify and resolve technical issues.
n
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
n
- Provide technical support and training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
n
- Complete service documentation accurately and promptly.
n
- Participate in OEM certification programs and ongoing technical training to maintain product knowledge.
n
n
You will ideally be someone who has:
n
n
- Relevant Electrical or Mechanical trade qualifications,
or equivalent industry experience.
n
- Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment.
n
- Experience installing and servicing wide-format printers, CNC routers, laser cutting equipment or similar industrial machinery.
n
- Basic understanding of electrical schematics and technical drawings.
n
- Knowledge of wide-format printing applications and associated consumables is highly regarded.
n
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
n
- Effective time management and organisational skills.
n
- A customer-focused approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative team.
n
- A current Australian Driver Licence and willingness to travel as required.
n
- Extensive training will be provided to the successful candidate, along with support and guidance in responding to customer enquiries and special requirements.
n
- Experience within the paper, packaging and printing industry would be advantageous.
n
