Job Description

W Garage Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team in Coopers Plains, Queensland. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they are kept in optimal working condition.

What you'll be doing

- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools
n
- Carry out scheduled servicing and maintenance on a variety of makes and models
n
- Test and inspect vehicle systems and components to identify and address any problems
n
- Work collaboratively with other technicians and services advisors to meet deadlines
n
- Maintain detailed records of work completed and parts used
n
- Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard and in compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
n
- Communicate clearly with customers or team members about repair needs and options
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent trade qualification)
n
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Automotive mechanic or technician, preferably in a similar workshop environment
n
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
n




- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
n
- Good communication skills to liaise with customers and provide clear explanations of work required
n
- A valid driver's licence and your own set of basic hand tool
n
