Solution Architect | Azure | 12-Month Contract

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Solution Architect to join a large enterprise transformation program, delivering modern cloud and integration solutions across multiple high-profile initiatives.

Working alongside the Lead Architect and wider Architecture practice, you'll play a key role in designing scalable, secure and business-focused solutions across Microsoft Azure, partnering with business stakeholders, delivery teams and vendors to shape the future technology landscape.

About the Role

n

This is a hands-on architecture position where you'll be responsible for designing end-to-end solutions across a range of enterprise projects, including cloud modernisation, SaaS implementation, system integration and platform rationalisation.

n

You'll collaborate closely with Enterprise, Security, Data and Integration Architects to ensure solutions align with broader technology strategy while providing technical leadership throughout delivery.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Design end-to-end solution architectures across Microsoft Azure.
n
- Produce high-level and detailed solution designs for enterprise transformation initiatives.
n
- Architect secure API and integration solutions using Azure Integration Services.
n
- Design scalable, cloud-native solutions leveraging Azure services and modern architectural patterns.
n
- Conduct architecture assessments of SaaS platforms and vendor solutions.
n




- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical solution designs.
n
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, governance and security principles.
n
- Provide architectural guidance throughout the full project lifecycle.
n

About You

n

You'll be an experienced Solution Architect with a strong Azure background and a passion for designing modern enterprise solutions.

n

You'll bring experience with:

n

n
- Microsoft Azure architecture across cloud, integration and application services.
n
- Azure API Management (APIM).
n
- Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid and Azure Functions.
n
- Secure API design, OAuth2 and OpenID Connect.
n
- SaaS integrations and enterprise application architecture.
n
- Event-driven and cloud-native architecture.
n
- Azure DevOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (Bicep or similar).
n
- .NET and modern application development.
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to communicate effectively across both business and technical teams.
n
