We have been supplying high quality building, garden & landscaping supplies to Melbourne, Geelong and beyond for nearly 45 years. The Daisy's team currently consists of over 200 people, working across 9 stores and 4 production sites, from Pakenham to Torquay and Colac. We are excited to be opening a 10th store in August in Mornington, and we have an opportunity for a Store Driver to join the team on a casual basis.

The role

n

As a Store Driver your key responsibilities will be:

n

n
- Deliver garden, building and landscaping supplies to customers,



mostly down the Mornington Peninsular.
n
- Drive a medium rigid tip truck (and HR if licenced)
n
- Operate mobile equipment in the sales yard (if competent)
n
- Maintain sales yard and truck presentation & cleanliness
n

n

Hours of the role

n

The Mornington store will be open Monday to Friday from 7am - 4.30pm and Saturday from 7am - 4pm. The store will be closed on Sundays and most public holidays.

Skills & experience

n

The successful applicant will be someone who:

n

n
- Holds a current MR license with a protected driving record (clean driving record for the last 2 years)
n
- Has at least 1-year previous truck driving experience
n
- Can form friendly and positive customer relationships
n
- Has reasonable knowledge of the Mornington Peninsular
n
- Competencies and experience operating a forklift and/or front-end loader advantageous
n
