HCLTech Australia is seeking an experienced IBM MQ & Integration Support Engineer to join our Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and Middleware Support team. We are looking for 13-15 yrs experienced IBM MQ & IBM Integration Support Engineer to provide administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support for IBM MQ, IBM ACE/IIB, and IBM MFT environments. The role involves managing enterprise messaging platforms, resolving critical incidents, supporting integrations, and performing minor enhancements to ensure high availability and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

n

Install, upgrade, migrate, and administer IBM MQ across Linux and Windows environments.

n

Create and manage MQ objects such as Queue Managers, Queues, Channels, Listeners, and Process Definitions.

n

Monitor and troubleshoot MQ infrastructure, queues, channels, and message flows.

n

Configure and manage MQ Clusters, Workload Balancing, Multi-Instance Queue Managers, and Failover setups.

n

Perform backup, recovery, and recreation of damaged MQ objects.

n

Manage SSL/TLS certificates,



key databases, and MQ security configurations.

n

Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot IBM Managed File Transfer (MFT) agents and file transfers.

n

Provide support for IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) / IBM Integration Bus (IIB) applications, including troubleshooting, minor enhancements, and deployments.

n

Debug issues related to ESQL, XML, XSLT, Java, SQL, and message transformations.

n

Manage internal/external certificates for IIB applications.

n

Resolve production issues such as channel retry failures, sequence number mismatches, and uncommitted messages.

n

Participate in 24x7 production support, incident management, RCA preparation, and on-call support.

Required Skills

IBM MQ Administration (v8.x/v9.x or higher)

n

IBM Managed File Transfer (MFT)

n

Java, ESQL, SQL

n

XML and XSLT

n

Linux and Windows Administration

n

Solid troubleshooting and production support experience

n

Knowledge of IBM Connect:Direct(Good to have)
