Job Description

As a Light Vehicle Mechanic at GCE Automotive, you'll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of passenger and light commercial vehicles. Working in our contemporary, well-equipped workshop, you'll deliver quality workmanship while being supported by strong systems and a collaborative team.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out logbook servicing in accordance with manufacturer specifications
n
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
n
- General servicing and maintenance
n
- Brake, steering and suspension repairs
n
- Timing belt and major mechanical repairs
n
- Using scan tools and diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults
n
- Completing vehicle inspections and reporting recommended repairs
n
- Performing road tests where required
n
- Maintaining accurate job records and following workshop procedures
n
- Working safely and contributing to a clean, organised workshop
n
