Chemtrans have opportunities for local nightshift drivers at their Botany depot in the lead up to their peak season, and to commence as soon as possible.

Whether you're already experienced in Dangerous Goods transportation, or ready to build your existing driving skills, we'll provide you with 4 weeks of comprehensive training and support for you to develop your skills and further your career.

About the role
n
You'll be involved in a variety of local and country transport operations throughout NSW, including:
n
n
- Transporting, loading and unloading a variety of Class 8 liquid dangerous goods
n
- Operating specialised pumping equipment safely
n
- Wearing appropriate PPE to suit the product being transported
n
- Completing customer deliveries to our clients' customers both local metro and country NSW
n
- Maintaining a robust focus on safety, compliance and customer service is essential
n
n
What you'll bring
n
n
- Proven driving experience around - minimum of 12mths
n
- Knowledge of Sydney metro
n
- Strong and safe driving history
n
- Ability to wear required PPE Chemical suits and PPE including face shields and helmets as required
n
- Dangerous Goods license - desirable but can support with obtaining
n
- A flexible mindset towards the ever-changing demands of the transport industry
n
- Able to work overtime when required
n
- Positive attitude and ability to deliver high quality customer service.
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
