Dental United Group is expanding, and we're looking for an experienced and motivated Field Service Technician to join our growing team in Townsville.

n

The role will initially be part-time, with the opportunity for hours to increase and develop into a full-time position as we grow our client base throughout the region.

n

This is an exciting opportunity to represent our business across Far North Queensland while being fully supported by our experienced technical and administration teams based on the Sunshine Coast.

n

Working across dental practices throughout the region, you'll install, service, maintain and repair a wide range of dental equipment. You'll work independently in the field while always having the support and knowledge of the wider Dental United Group team behind you.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Diagnose, service and repair dental equipment
n
- Install dental equipment and assist with new surgery fit-outs
n




- Carry out preventative maintenance
n
- Perform steriliser validation and help practices maintain equipment compliance
n
- Manage parts, tools and vehicle stock
n
- Complete service reports and warranty documentation
n
- Respond to customer concerns and escalate issues when required
n
- Build strong relationships with existing customers and help grow our client base throughout Far North Queensland

Skills and Experience

n

n
- Experience as a service technician in the dental or medical industry is preferred but not essential
n
- Experience with steriliser validation and compliance requirements is highly regarded
n
- Electrical, electronic, mechanical or similar trade background
n
- A qualified electrician would be beneficial but is not essential
n
- Previous fault-finding and troubleshooting experience
n
- Basic computer skills, with networking experience advantageous
n
