Sun Island Tours is a niche wholesale travel company specialising in the Mediterranean region. This includes destinations such as Greece, Türkiye, Cyprus, Egypt, Croatia, Italy, Spain, Portugal & Morocco. We are a family owned and operated business for over 35 years, and are based in Surry Hills, Sydney.

About the role

n

Full Time Mon-Fri, with Hybrid role (Mon-Wed in the office close to Sydney's Central Station, Thu-Fri WFH)

n

Join the team at Sun Island Tours as a full-time Wholesale Travel Adviser. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and curating our range of holiday packages and tour offerings to our customers. As a key member of our reservations team, you'll be able to use your passion and knowledge of the Mediterranean region to create unforgettable holidays for our customers.

What you'll be doing

n

Speaking to both retail travel agents and travellers, and creating holidays that include touring, cruising, and other arrangements throughout the Mediterranean

n

Researching and understanding destinations, sightseeing and cultures to provide authentic and interesting itineraries

n

Providing exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met

n

Collaborating with the marketing team to promote products through various channels

n

Providing feedback and suggestions to improve our product range and processes

n

What we are looking for

n

Extensive, first-hand travel experience throughout the Mediterranean or a proven track record of selling these specific destinations professionally

n





Minimum of 1 year of comprehensive experience in the travel industry, preferably in a wholesale, retail, or reservations environment.

Strong customer service skills with an ability to build strong professional relationships with our repeat clients

n

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

n

Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills

n

Proficient in using MS Office suite

n

Passion for travel and delivering exceptional customer experiences
