We're seeking a passionate and experienced Duty Manager to join the team at Dorsett Gold Coast. This is a full‐time leadership opportunity where you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, supporting our Front Office team, and ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you'll be the senior leader on shift, providing guidance to the team, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring every guest receives outstanding service.

ABOUT THE ROLE

n

As Duty Manager, you'll lead by example while supporting Front Office and Guest Services to ensure the hotel operates efficiently. You'll be a confident and approachable leader, committed to maintaining high service standards and fostering a positive team environment.

Key responsibilities include:

n

- Acting as Manager on Duty and overseeing hotel operations during your shift
n
- Leading, coaching, and supporting Guest Service Agents and Porters
n
- Delivering exceptional guest service and professionally resolving guest enquiries and concerns
n
- Ensuring efficient check‐in and check‐out experiences
n
- Supporting daily handovers, operational reporting, and roster coverage
n




- Collaborating with all hotel departments to deliver a seamless guest experience
n
- Maintaining high standards of service, safety, and compliance
n

ABOUT YOU

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Previous experience as a Duty Manager or Front Office Supervisor within a hotel environment
n
- A genuine passion for guest service and developing high‐performing teams
n
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‐solving skills
n
- A calm and professional approach in a fast‐paced environment
n
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
n
- Availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
n
- Experience with Opera Cloud (preferred but not essential)
n
