This is a rare opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join a high-performing finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a hands-on role that will see you partnering with key stakeholders across the business, delivering insightful financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, while ensuring compliance with statutory obligations.

About the role:

n

- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports, including variance analysis and commentary.
n
- Lead the annual budgeting process and assist with regular forecasting cycles.
n
- Monitor business performance and provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
n
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
n
- Manage payroll-related accounting and statutory compliance.
n
- Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS and other statutory reporting obligations.
n
- Support cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
n
- Partner with operational stakeholders to provide financial analysis and business support.
n
- Assist with external audits and year-end reporting requirements.
n
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.
n
- Support ad hoc projects and business improvement initiatives as required.
n

About You:

n

n
- Completed CA/CPA qualification
n
- Demonstrated experience in a Senior Accountant or similar finance role ideally within the mining or resources sector.
n
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and statutory compliance.
n
- Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical capabilities
n
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
n
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
n
