What You'll Be Doing
n As the Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will support the day-to-day quality assurance, food safety and compliance activities across our Alexandria distribution facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, working across teams and helping maintain systems, records and site practices that meet regulatory requirements, customer expectations and internal standards.
n Food Safety and GMP: Conduct routine GMP,
hygiene and food safety checks, record findings and follow up corrective actions with relevant site teams.
n Audit and Compliance Support: Perform internal audits, customer & regulatory external audits, supplier or regulatory requirements, evidence gathering and close-out of audit actions.
n Product Quality Management: Support product hold and release processes, customer complaint investigations, non-conformance reporting, root cause analysis and corrective action tracking.
n Warehouse Quality Support: Monitor receiving, storage, stock rotation, temperature control, cold chain compliance and product handling practices to ensure products remain protected and fit for sale.
n Traceability and Recall Readiness: Conduct traceability checks, mock recalls, product withdrawals and inventory quality controls to support audit readiness and risk management.
n Documentation and Records: Maintain accurate QA records, registers, specifications and reports, ensuring documentation is complete, current and readily available for audits.
n Continuous Improvement: Work with operational stakeholders to identify compliance gaps, improve site practices and strengthen quality and food safety systems.

What You'll Bring
n
Previous experience in a QA Coordinator or similar role within FMCG, food manufacturing, food distribution, 3PL or warehousing
n
Sound understanding of GMP, HACCP, food safety, allergens, labelling, traceability and internal auditing requirements
n
Experience supporting investigations, corrective actions, non-conformance management and compliance activities
n
Strong attention to detail, accurate record-keeping and confidence working with quality documentation
n
Excellent organisational, planning and follow-up capability, with the ability to manage competing priorities
n
Clear communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across operations, warehouse and quality teams
n
Intermediate Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
n
Experience with ERP or MRP systems, preferably M3, is advantageous
n
A qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Assurance or a related discipline is advantageous
