Security Process Analyst | Contract or FTC | Docklands VIC (Hybrid)

n

A large Australian organisation is delivering a major cyber security uplift program and needs a dedicated Security Process Analyst to drive it forward. This is a hands-on process analysis role, not a generalist BA position. You'll work across multiple cyber security workstreams, turning in-progress initiatives into finished, embedded and well-documented business as usual processes.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Mapping current-state and target-state processes across governance, risk and compliance, security operations, identity and data protection initiatives
n
- Developing and maintaining RASCI models, stakeholder matrices and governance artefacts
n
- Supporting finalisation of the business-wide asset register and security service catalogue
n
- Refining and centralising incident response playbooks and updating incident response process maps
n
- Supporting user access review processes and recommending automation and reporting improvements
n
- Gathering and documenting business requirements for data loss prevention initiatives
n
- Building change impact assessments and communications collateral to support BAU handover
n
- Coordinating planning and documentation for a large-scale tabletop exercise
n

What we're looking for

n

n




- Strong background as a Process Analyst, Business Analyst or Process Improvement specialist on technology security or compliance programs
n
- Proven process mapping, process design and gap analysis skills
n
- Comfortable running multiple concurrent initiatives at different stages of maturity with minimal supervision
n
- Solid understanding of, or robust aptitude for, core cyber security and risk concepts such as vulnerability management, IAM/PAM, DLP, GRC and incident response
n
- Excellent written communication skills, able to produce clear process documentation and executive-ready reporting
n
- Confident engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders
n
- Experience supporting change management and communications planning highly regarded
n
- Process improvement or business analysis certification (Lean/Six Sigma, BABOK/CBAP, PROSCI) a plus
