Job Description
We are looking to find a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join a large, values-driven organisation in their high-performing FP&A; team.

This is a genuine partnering role; not a back-office function. You will work directly alongside operational leaders, helping them understand their numbers, make better decisions, and drive performance. If you want a finance role where your insights actually land, this is it.

About the Role
n
This position plays a critical role requiring a specific combination of technical capability, commercial finance experience, and analytical skill set.
n
Key responsibilities of the role include:
n
n
- Partnering with operational leaders to provide financial insights, KPI reporting, performance analysis, financial modelling and decision support across diverse service areas.
n
- Supporting managers to improve financial performance through revenue optimisation, cost management, forecasting and commercial decision-making.
n
- Developing business cases for capital and operational initiatives, including financial modelling, risk assessment, scenario analysis and perks tracking.
n
- Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and reforecasts, ensuring alignment with operational objectives and strategic priorities.
n
- Delivering accurate and insightful management reporting, including variance analysis,
trend identification and performance commentary for senior stakeholders.
n
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes, systems and reporting to enhance efficiency and business understanding.
n
- Assisting with audit requirements, project-based work and ad hoc financial analysis as required.

About you
n
Some of the skills and experience you will bring to this position will include:
n
n
- At least 3 years' experience in FP&A;, business partnering or management accounting.
n
- Solid grounding in Australian accounting standards (AASB) and strong Excel skills.
n
- A genuine ability to build relationships and communicate financial concepts to non-finance audiences.
n
- Strong modelling, forecasting and analytical skills and the confidence to back your insights.
n
- The ability to juggle competing priorities and deliver quality work to tight deadlines.
n
- A tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, business or a related discipline plus CPA, CA or CIMA (or working towards).
n
- Experience in aged care, health, or another highly regulated industry would be desirable.
n
- Hands-on experience with Epicor or a comparable enterprise finance system
n
n
Working Arrangements
n
This role is based in Upper Mount Gravatt and requires 4 days per week in the office.
