Glenmount Medical Clinic is a well-established, privately owned mixed billing general practice located in Glen Waverley. We are committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care in a warm and supportive environment.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse to join our friendly team on a part-time basis.

n

This position is rostered across Thursday and Friday (8:30am – 4:30/5:00pm), with an alternative Wednesday and the opportunity to pick up additional shifts when available.

About the Role

n

As a Practice Nurse, you will play an integral role in supporting our doctors and delivering outstanding care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

- Chronic Disease Management and Care Planning
n
- Health Assessments
n
- Iron Infusions
n
- Immunisations and vaccinations (adult and paediatric)
n
- Travel Vaccinations
n
- Wound management and dressings
n
- ECGs, ear irrigation and other treatment room procedures
n
- Assisting GPs with minor surgical procedures
n




- Infection prevention and control
n
- Recall and reminder management
n
- Stock ordering and inventory control
n
- Quality Improvement activities
n
- General clinical support to the medical team
n

About You

n

We are looking for someone who is passionate about general practice nursing, enjoys building strong relationships with patients, and thrives in a collaborative team environment.

n

Essential Criteria

n

n
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
n
- Minimum 1 year of experience in general practice or a similar healthcare setting
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
n
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
n

Desirable

n

n
- Experience with Chronic Disease Management, Care Plans and Health Assessments
n
- Experience using MedicalDirector and Pracsoft (or similar clinical software)
n
- Immunisation certification
n
- Mandarin speaking (highly regarded but not essential)
n
