K&S; Pallets is one of country Victoria's leading pallet manufacturers. We're growing - new factory plans, new equipment, big projects ahead - and we need a hands-on Maintenance Technician who wants to be at the Centre of it.

This isn't a stand-around role. You'll be the go-to person keeping our production lines, nailing machines, saws, hydraulics and material handling equipment at peak performance. If you love fixing things, hate downtime, and take pride in a plant that runs like clockwork - this is your job.

Key Responsibilities:

n

To maximize equipment uptime and ensure the safe and efficient operation of all machinery through a proactive, preventive maintenance program.

n

1. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to strict OH&S; regulations and lock-out/tag-out procedures.

n

2. Preventative Maintenance: Develop, execute, and refine a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to maximize equipment uptime and prevent failures.

n

3. Fault Diagnosis and Rectification: Promptly respond to equipment breakdowns, diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues,



and perform effective repairs to minimize downtime.

4. Equipment Optimization: Proactively identify opportunities to improve machinery performance. Undertake modifications and overhauls to enhance efficiency, reliability, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

5. Teamwork: Work closely with the production team to schedule maintenance, manage spare parts inventory, and ensure minimal disruption to our high-volume manufacturing schedule.

6. Reporting & Analysis: Maintain detailed maintenance logs, report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as uptime and PM completion rates and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial/manufacturing plant
n
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability
n
- Highly motivated, reliable, and production-focused
n
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
n
- A team player who also takes ownership and initiative
n
- Solid safety mindset and communication skills
