Job Description

We are currently partnering with a market leading private equity backed business on the search for a newly created Head of FP&A; role, reporting into the Deputy CFO.

Sitting close to the executive team, you will play a lead role in shaping how the business plans, forecasts and reports, building the function from the ground up and becoming a trusted voice at board level.

n

You will be deep in the numbers, building out a team, and shaping how finance partners with the rest of the business.

n

Initially this is about establishing the foundations, budgeting, forecasting and board reporting, before building out a team as the function matures. The business is mid transformation, so adaptability and a genuine appetite to build are essential.

The key duties of the role will include but not be limited to:

n

- Owning budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis across the business
n
- Leading board reporting and presenting insights to senior stakeholders
n




- Building and developing a high performing FP&A; team
n
- Partnering closely with stakeholders across the business to influence decision making
n
- Playing an active role in the broader finance transformation agenda in a rapidly growing group
n

The ideal candidate will be:

n

n
- Strong budgeting and forecasting experience gained in a similar senior FP&A; role
n
- Experience operating in a finance transformation environment
n
- Confident presenting and reporting to board level
n
- A genuine track record of building and developing teams
n
- Solid stakeholder management and relationship building skills
n

This role is based in the Sydney CBD with hybrid flexibility, and offers genuine exposure to the executive team and board, along with a clear growth trajectory as the function scales.
