WHS Advisor | Builder Developer | City Fringe

A leading Brisbane construction and property development business is seeking an experienced WHS Advisor to support the safe delivery of a major high-rise project on the city fringe.

About the role

n

This is a single-site role based in Brisbane, for approximately 18 to 24 months. The project comprises 3 basement levels and 10+ storeys, with groundworks now commencing. You will play a hands-on role in driving safety across all stages of construction, reporting to HSE Manager and project team.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Champion a solid safety culture across the site
n
- Support the implementation and monitoring of WHS systems, policies and procedures
n
- Conduct site inspections,



audits and risk assessments
n
- Assist with inductions, toolbox talks and safety documentation
n
- Support incident reporting, investigation and corrective actions
n
- Work closely with site teams, trades and subcontractors to ensure compliance
n

About you

n

n
- Minimum 3 years' high-rise construction experience
n
- Trade background combined with WHS/HSEQ experience preferred
n
- Sound working knowledge of WHS legislation and requirements
n
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage teams on site
