Kempsey Nissan is expanding our workshop team and we're looking for a qualified Service Technician who takes pride in their work, thrives in a fast‐paced workplace, and enjoys being part of a supportive, high‐performing crew.

About the role:

n

As a Service Technician at Kempsey Nissan, you will:

n

n
- Carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of Nissan vehicles
n
- Use modern diagnostic equipment and follow manufacturer‐approved processes
n
- Deliver high‐quality workmanship with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction
n
- Work collaboratively with our Service Advisors and Workshop Controller
n
- Maintain accurate records and uphold Nissan's service standards
n

n

Your key responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Providing expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehicles
n
- Taking all necessary steps to diagnose to ensure the correct operation of vehicles sold under dealer warranty including the dismantling and reconstruction or replacement of faulty components
n
- Reporting all necessary work, service or repairs to workshop foreman
n
- Providing guidance and training to apprentice service technicians
n




- Maintaining an up‐to‐date knowledge of all mechanical issues and changes relating to dealer product range
n
- Maintaining a safe working environment through ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialised equipment
n
- Test driving and conducting final assessments prior to the delivery or return of vehicles to guests
n
- Providing high level guest service to the dealership's guests
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Qualified Automotive Technician (Cert III Light Vehicle or equivalent)
n
- Strong diagnostic and problem‐solving skills
n
- Experience with modern vehicle systems and technology
n
- A positive attitude and commitment to great customer service
n
- Current driver's licence
n
- Nissan experience is a bonus, but not essential
n
