We are seeking an experienced and motivated Field Service Technician to service customers throughout the Mildura, Riverland and Adelaide regions. This role is ideal for someone who can combine strong technical capability with excellent customer service — a technician who not only fixes equipment, but also builds confidence, communicates clearly, and represents the business professionally on every site visit.

About the Role

n

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for:

n

n
- Installation, servicing and maintenance of industrial equipment
n
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
n
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance
n




- Providing technical support and customer service on-site
n
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and site personnel
n
- Ensuring customers are kept informed of service outcomes, maintenance recommendations and equipment performance
n
- Completing service reports and maintenance documentation accurately and professionally
n
- Working independently across multiple customer sites
n
- Representing the company in a professional and customer-focused manner at all times
n

Customer Service Focus

n

As a key representative of the business, you will be expected to deliver a high standard of customer service during every site visit. This includes clear communication, professional conduct, practical problem-solving, and a genuine focus on helping customers keep their operations running smoothly.

- Develop strong working relationships with customers, operators, maintenance teams and production personnel
n
- Understand customer operational requirements and provide practical, outcome-focused solutions
n
- Respond professionally and positively to customer enquiries, concerns and service requirements
n
- Explain technical issues, repairs and recommendations in a clear and customer-friendly way
n




- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime and improve customer outcomes
n
- Provide timely updates regarding repairs, maintenance activities, parts requirements and recommended next steps
n

Skills & Experience

n

We are looking for candidates with:

n

n
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical experience
n
- Trade qualification (Certificate III) in one of the following:
n

nn
- Maintenance Fitting
n
- Mechanical Fitting
n
- Electrical Trade
n
- Automotive Mechanic
n
- Related industrial trade
n

nn
- Ability to fault-find and troubleshoot equipment
n
- Strong communication and customer service skills
n
- Ability to explain technical issues and solutions clearly to customers
n
- A proactive approach to customer support and problem resolution
n
- Current driver's licence
n
- Ability to travel within the service region
n

n

Highly Regarded Experience

n

Previous experience within any of the following industries will be advantageous:

- Food manufacturing
n
- Fruit packing and processing facilities
n
- Labelling equipment
n
- Packaging machinery
n
- Conveying systems
n
- Industrial automation and production equipment
