Job Description

The Townsville RSL Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to join our team.

n

As Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, while providing leadership and direction to department managers and operational staff while maintaining the highest standards of service, compliance, and profitability.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Lead and support venue operations across all departments.

n

Develop, coach and mentor department managers and supervisors.

n

Drive exceptional customer service standards.

n

Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

n

Ensure compliance, legislative and club policies are met.

n

Oversee gaming, F&B; and club operations, promotions and customer engagement.

n

Coordinate successful functions, entertainment and special events.

n

Ensure venue presentation and cleanliness remain at exceptional standards.

n

About You

n

You are an energetic leader who enjoys being on the floor, supporting your team and leading by example.

n

You will possess:

n

Minimum 5 years' management experience within a licensed club, or hospitality venue.

n

Demonstrated leadership of teams.

n

Strong understanding of club operations, gaming and food & beverage.

n

Excellent financial and commercial awareness.

n

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

n





High attention to detail and organisational skills.

n

Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

n

Current Queensland Responsible Management of Licensed Venues (RMLV).

n

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).

n

Responsible Service of Gaming (RSG).

n

Current Approved Manager approval (or ability to obtain).

n

Current Driver Licence.

n

Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and public holidays.

n

Familiar with Odyssey program

n

First Aid and CPR certification.

n

Blue Card

n

Police clearance

n
