Piletech Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Boilermaker / First Class Welder to join our workshop team.

This is a predominantly workshop-based role, with the primary focus on the fabrication and manufacture of steel piling products and associated equipment for civil, piling and infrastructure projects.

About the Role

n

Your duties will include:

n

n
- Fabrication and welding of steel piles and piling components
n
- Cutting, fitting, assembling and welding structural steel
n
- Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings
n
- Preparing materials for fabrication and welding
n
- MIG welding and general boilermaking duties
n
- Manufacturing and modifying piling tools and equipment
n
- Ensuring finished products meet required specifications and quality standards
n
- Safe use of workshop machinery, tools and lifting equipment
n
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
n
- Assisting with loading and preparation of fabricated products for delivery to site
n
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures and company requirements
n

About You

n

We are looking for someone who:

n

n
- Is a qualified Boilermaker or experienced First Class Welder
n
- Has strong fabrication and welding skills
n
- Has experience working with heavy structural steel
n




- Can confidently read and interpret workshop/fabrication drawings
n
- Produces consistently high-quality welds
n
- Has a strong understanding of and commitment to WHS/OHS standards and safe work practices
n
- Can work independently while also contributing to a workshop team
n
- Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their workmanship
n
- Has valuable attention to detail
n
- Holds a current Australian driver's licence
n

n

Experience in pile manufacture, heavy fabrication, civil construction or structural steel fabrication will be highly regarded.

n

Forklift, dogging, rigging or crane tickets would also be advantageous.
