Anvo Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team in our South Melbourne office. This is a full time role that will see you play a crucial part in providing strategic tax advisory services to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

n

Providing expert tax planning and compliance services to a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, small businesses, and corporate clients

n

Preparing and lodging complex tax returns, including individual, trust, partnership, and company tax returns

n

Conducting in-depth tax research and analysis to identify tax minimisation strategies for clients

n

Advising clients on tax implications of business decisions and transactions

n

Collaborating with the broader accounting team to deliver integrated financial solutions

n

Mentoring and training junior members of the tax team

n

Keeping up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and best practices

n

What we're looking for

n

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

n

4+ years' post-qualification experience in a tax accounting role within a professional services firm

n

Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation laws and regulations, including income tax and GST





n

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to provide practical, commercial advice

n

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to clients

n

Experience in supervising and developing junior team members

n

Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

n

Membership of a professional accounting body (CPA or CA) is highly desirable

n
