A leading Australian provider of technical integrated services is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join their organisation. This is a standalone, senior role reporting to the CFO with responsibility for shaping and driving the organisation's procurement strategy, driving cost savings, and strengthening commercial performance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and execute a procurement strategy that maximises value and reduces cost.
n
- Lead major tenders, sourcing events, negotiations and contract management.
n
- Deliver year‐on‐year cost savings through improved commercial terms, supplier consolidation and market engagement.
n
- Build and maintain high‐performing supplier relationships with clear performance and cost outcomes.
n
- Strengthen procurement governance, policies and compliance across the organisation.
n
- Support operations with clear procurement processes that improve efficiency and minimise spend leakage.
n
- Use data and reporting to identify cost‐reduction opportunities and improve decision‐making.
n
- Ensure all procurement activities meet probity, safety and regulatory requirements.
n
- Champion sustainable and ethical procurement practices.
n
- Drive continuous improvement and modernisation of procurement systems and workflows.
n

About you
n
n
- Proven experience leading procurement in a technical, operational or service‐based environment.
n
- Exposure to spend categories such as labour, plant and equipment, fleet and subcontracted services.
n
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering significant cost savings.
n
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management and supplier engagement skills.
n
- Analytical, organised and confident influencing senior leaders.
n
- Comfortable owning a standalone procurement function end‐to‐end.
n
