Job Description

We're seeking an experienced and motivated Industrial Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team in Campbellfield, Melbourne. This full-time role sees you delivering high-quality service, maintenance, and breakdown work on industrial refrigeration systems across a range of client sites. You will report to the Service & Operations Manager and operate within a supported team to deliver safe, compliant outcomes on time and within scope.

What you'll be doing

n

Execute service, maintenance, fault-finding, and breakdown works on industrial refrigeration systems

n

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigeration and air conditioning systems

n

Replace and install new refrigeration and air conditioning components as required

n

Identify and develop additional work opportunities arising from programmed maintenance visits and service calls, including scope for repairs, upgrades, or follow-on quoted work

n

Maintain detailed records of all work undertaken

n

Maintain clear communication with management regarding work progress, issues, delays, and risks

n

Manage parts requirements, ordering, and supplier liaison efficiently

n

Participate in a regular, rotating on-call roster responding to breakdowns within required timeframes

n

Ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards and company expectations

n

What we're looking for

n

Formal trade qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning with a minimum of 5 years industrial refrigeration experience

n

High-risk work licences as applicable

n





Strong technical knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems and components

n

Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot faults efficiently

n

Experience using field service management software (simPRO experience highly regarded)

n

Disciplined approach to documentation, reporting, and scope compliance

n

Transparent communicator and team player

n

Current Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel to client sites
