Job Description

We are partnering with a large organisation to recruit a Senior Technology and Projects Officer to join their team in a permanent position. This position supports and enhances the organisation's IT infrastructure operations by delivering high-quality technical support, ensuring robust cybersecurity and manages IT Infrastructure projects to deliver exceptional service outcomes.

Key responsibilities include the following:

n

IT Infrastructure Operations. Provide second-level operational support infrastructure

n

IT Infrastructure Improvement. Contribute to ongoing plans and programs to ensure the continuous improvement of Information Technology installation and processes

n

Cybersecurity. Ensure the security and integrity of IT infrastructure and data by implementing and maintaining robust cybersecurity measures.

n

Project Management. Lead the successful delivery of IT infrastructure projects.

n

Budget Management. Assist with management of the IT Infrastructure budget

n

Vendor Management. Manage external stakeholders and partners to ensure performance and outcomes are achieved.

n

The successful candidate for this role will have the following skills/experience:

n

Expertise managing a hybrid IT infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365,



Microsoft Windows physical and virtual servers, network (including wireless) and firewall devices, Multifunction Print Devices and end user devices.

n

Experience in coordinating small and large scale ICT projects

n

Experience in a project management role within a large and complex, multi-site environment encompassing multidisciplinary team approaches.

n

Knowledge of, and experience in, project management frameworks, analysing business requirements and implementing business system enhancements

n

Understanding of the IT industry and the implications of emerging approaches

n

Strategic management and leadership skills in developing people, driving process and technology change

n

Ability to build and maintain professional internal and external client relationships including with vendors .

n

Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle under a C Class Licence.
