About the role

You’ll take ownership of the tools and systems that keep the Centralised Services team running, and help mature how they monitor, secure, and manage our clients' environments. You’ll own RMM and network monitoring, client and internal infrastructure, patch and vulnerability management, and you’ll have real input into where the platforms go next.

Key responsibilities

- Manage the RMM platform end to end - policies, templates, SOPs, scripting for efficiency, and balanced alerting
- Keep IT Glue and Auvik accurate and well maintained, and review monitoring strategy as the client base grows
- Conduct backup verification, DR validation testing, access control audits, Sophos Central management, vulnerability management, and patching
- Help keep client environments compliant, documented, and secure
- Work closely with the Centralised Services Manager on research and development as the business matures its solutions and evaluates new tools
- Manage firmware and Windows updates across internal systems
- Manage Office 365 including Intune and Defender policies

- Keep internal patching and ISO technical standards on track
- Identify manual and repetitive tasks and look for ways to automate them
- Keep documentation current as systems change and be a visible, communicative part of the tech team

About you

- Solid experience with RMM platforms, network monitoring tools (Auvik or similar), and documentation platforms (ITGlue or similar)
- Hands on and demonstrated experience with Sophos or comparable endpoint and firewall security
- Strong Microsoft 365 administration, including Intune and Defender policies
- A working understanding of vulnerability management and patch compliance
- Comfort with scripting or automation to cut down repetitive work
- MSP or IT services background is a strong advantage

Why this role

Their values are how they actually operate, not just words on a wall. They show up in how the team leads and work together.

Team Players. Reliable, dependable, and willing to go above and beyond for each other, not just for clients.

Honest & Genuine. Weown mistakes and have real conversations instead of dancing around problems.

Drive to Improve. Proactive and self-aware, always looking for a better way to do things.

Camaraderie. We work hard and don't take ourselves too seriously. Banter is part of the deal.

This role will evolve from your first day. The Centralised Services team's scope is expanding, and you'll be building some of that scope as you go rather than stepping into something fully settled. If you like a role with a clear runway and a say in how it takes shape, that's exactly what's on offer here.
