Women's Health Grampians (WHG) is seeking a skilled and values-driven Business Operations Manager to lead our organisational operations and support impactful work across the region.

n

This is a unique opportunity to play a key leadership role in an organisation committed to gender equality, prevention of violence against women, and improving health outcomes for women and gender diverse people.

About the role

n

Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Leadership Team, you will lead the effective and sustainable operation of WHG. You'll oversee core business functions including:

n

- Finance and financial sustainability
n
- People & culture
n
- Governance, risk and compliance
n
- Systems, ICT and organisational infrastructure
n

n

You'll ensure WHG has strong systems, processes, and capabilities to deliver high-quality programs and achieve strategic goals.

n

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across the organisation
n
- Lead and support the Business Operations team
n
- Oversee financial management, reporting, budgeting, and compliance
n
- Manage the full employee lifecycle including workforce planning and employee relations
n
- Strengthen governance, risk management, and organisational policies
n
- Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and infrastructure
n
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and values-led workplace culture
n

About you

You are a collaborative and experienced operations leader with a strong commitment to social impact.

n

You will bring:

n

- Proven experience managing operations in a small–medium organisation (ideally regional)
n
- Strong financial management and compliance capability
n
- Experience across people & culture and organisational systems
n
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive organisational improvement
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
n
- Ability to navigate complex issues with sound judgement and critical thinking
n
- A commitment to feminist principles, gender equity and inclusive practice
n
