A non-profit organization where expatriate professionals serve in partnership with local staff to build capacity in the sectors of health and development working together in hope for the welfare of the people of the country.
n
The Finance Director will work with a team of competent local staff to develop and maintain strong and transparent financial management systems in line with global best practices for NGOs reflecting the organizations values.
S/He reports to the organizations Board is responsible to the Executive Director and participates as a key member of the organizations field-based Leadership Team.

The Finance Director will have experience in financial administration proficiency in English and have cross-cultural communication skills. S/He will be able to effectively lead and manage a small team and be committed to capacity building. S/He will welcome challenges and be willing to make tough decisions while caring for people. S/He will be able to prioritise and perform well under pressure while living and working in an unpredictable cross-cultural context. Qualified qualifications such as being a Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant are appreciated but not required.
