Concrete Operation & Site Manager (company car incl.)

An experienced Site & Operations Manager for a small yet productive concreting team, here on the beautiful Surf Coast!

n

Our crews work across Surf Coast, Geelong and The Bellarine focusing on residential, commercial and decorative concrete work. We specialise in a spectrum of works all the way from house slabs and driveways to large-scale commercial applications and sometimes, smaller architectural projects, outdoor kitchens, hardscape and floating steps.

Job Overview:

n

As a Manager, you will be responsible for the successful execution of projects - start to finish. You'll be:

n

n
- Managing crew and logistics
n
- Signing off sites ready for pour days
n
- Client-facing site inspections and measure ups
n
- Comprehending plans and scheduling/managing budgets accordingly
n

n





Your work will ensure that the projects we run happen on-time, on-budget and to a high standard - keeping our stellar reputation for high quality work, intact.

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Reading structural + architectural plans
n
- Assess and judge quality of form work and be able to correct
n
- Be on the tools when needed (ideally this is minimal) - screed/ finish or form work
n
- Plan and manage jobs and execute to a high standard finish
n
- Ensuring quality assurance checks and protocol is followed
n
- Manage, delegate/direct crew members
n
- Manage and schedule subcontractors/concrete pumps
n
- Communicate with concrete plant and concrete pumps
n

Requirements:

n

n
- 5 years Site Operations/ Supervisor Manager experience
n
- 10 years concreting experience
n
- Physically fit
n
- Construction White Card
n
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
n
- Concrete finishing skills
n
- Form work skills
n
- Experience with all aspects of concreting
n
- Medium-rigid + excavator + skid steer tickets (ideal but not required)
