Queensland ADHD & Neurosciences Clinic (QANC) – Gold Coast is now seeking a second Admin Team member after successfully recruiting a Senior Admin. Part-time or Full-Time ( based on experience and qualifications)

** candidates with Practice Management software experience will be preferred .( BEST PRACTICE, MEDICAL DIRECTOR , GENIE etc. )

Queensland ADHD & Neurosciences Clinic (QANC) is a specialist psychiatry clinic dedicated to ADHD and Neurodiversity (child, adolescent, and adult). About the Role
n
n
- Part-time role: 3- 4 days : 8:00am–4:30pm
n
- Full-time option: Mon–Fri, based on experience and suitability
n
- **The first four weeks of employment hours will be flexible hours as per mutual agreement . The flexibility also allows for training and supervision based on candidate's prior experience .
n
- Pay: $30–$38 per hour (depending on skills, experience, and KPIs), in line with the Qld. Fairwork HPSS Health Services Award benchmarks
n
- Location: beautiful modern consulting rooms within the prestigious Pindara Private Hospital campus, Benowa, Gold Coast
n
n
You will be the welcoming face of QANC, supporting patients and families on their treatment journey. This role involves front desk reception, triage, intake coordination, billing , clinic liaison, and administrative support to the Clinical Director.
You will work closely with our Senior Administrator and Clinic Director.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Front desk reception duties and patient support; expertise in problem solving
n
- Daily email and phone communication with patients, carers, and stakeholders
n
- Appointment scheduling and management, clinic billing (Tyro), and banking
n
- Expertise in Best Practice ( or similar) practice management software .
n
- Applying clinic policies and procedures with professionalism and empathy
n
- Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to support patient care
n
- Maintaining confidentiality, ethical standards, and professional boundaries
n
n
Training & Support
n
We provide structured and hands-on flexible training and supervision to ensure you feel supported in your role.
n
n
- Initial training period: 1 month (casual, with progression to permanent part-time)
n
- Daily operational meetings and ongoing mentoring by Clinical staff .
n
- Guidance in clinical communication, problem solving, and medico-legal frameworks
n
- Support in working with ADHD and neurodiverse patients and families
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
n
n
- Previous medical administration/reception experience (GP or specialist clinic , Allied health)
n
- Minimum 6-12 months of medical administration/reception experience
n
- BASIC REQUIREMENTS
n
- Robust computer skills; confidence with practice management software (e.g., Best Practice, Medical Director, Genie)
n
- Excellent multitasking, time management, and problem-solving skills
n
- Professional communication with patients, families, clinicians, schools, and agencies
n
- High emotional intelligence, empathy, and resilience; 'can do' attitude
n
- Commitment to confidentiality, consent, and privacy standards
n
