About the Role

n

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Farm Manager, or someone ready to take the next step into Farm Management, to oversee the day-to-day operations of our turf and pasture production business. This is a hands‐on leadership role responsible for ensuring the efficient establishment, maintenance and harvesting of high‐quality turf while leading a dedicated team and working closely with other key areas of the business.

This role is ideal for a practical and organised leader with experience in agriculture and/or farm production, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic agricultural environment. Whether you've already managed a farming operation or you're ready to take the next step into Farm Management, this role offers the opportunity to lead a well-established operation and make a genuine impact.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Manage all aspects of daily turf production, including planting, irrigation, fertilising, spraying, mowing and harvesting.
n
- Monitoring crop performance and implementing best‐practice agronomic programs to maximise turf quality and productivity.
n
- Planning and coordinating seasonal activities to meet production targets and customer demand.
n
- Working collaboratively with the Mechanical Workshop to ensure machinery and equipment are maintained, serviced and available to support operations.

- Liaising closely with the Logistics team to coordinate harvesting schedules, product availability and timely deliveries to customers.
n
- Managing the farm's pasture program for livestock, including pasture establishment, fertilisation, irrigation and rotational grazing practices.
n
- Lead, mentor and supervise farm staff, promoting a positive and productive team culture.
n
- Maintain workplace health and safety compliance

Qualifications & Experience

n

n
- Experience leading, or demonstrating the capability to lead, an agricultural or farming environment.
n
- Experience managing, or playing a significant leadership role within, farming operations, preferably within turf production, crop or pasture management, or a related agricultural enterprise.
n
- Good mechanical aptitude and confidence operating machinery
n
- Ability to lead by example and work well within a team
n
- Current Driver's Licence
n
