This is predominantly a cleaning role but may involve some light kitchen hand duties such as clearing dishes and breakfast assistance. We require a high standard of cleanliness to all areas, including the kitchen, office rooms, waiting areas and wards. You will be required to comply with our cleaning practice guidelines; experience working in healthcare will be an advantage to your success in this role.

Previous cleaning experience in health or hospitality environment

n

Enjoy providing a excellent customer service experience

n

Demonstrate attention to detail and take pride in your work

n

Be dedicated to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness and infection control

n

Demonstrated understanding and competency in manual handling training, chemical use, hand hygiene and food safety

n

Comply with the Infection Control Standards

n

Comply with the requirements of our WHS Safety Management System to enhance patients, staff and visitors comfort and safety

n

Flexibility for workday, afternoon, evening and weekend shifts

n

Hospital / healthcare cleaning experience preferred

n

As a pre-requisite for this role, successful candidates will be required to provide an up-to-date National Police Clearance and Blue Card.
