2nd-4th year Apprentice Roof plumber & qualified roof plumbers

The team at PRO-TIN Metal Roofing is currently looking for a 2nd-4th year Apprentice Roof Plumber & qualified roof plumbers to join out team . This full-time role is based in Frankston, VIC and works all over south east Melbourne and peninsula and provides hands-on training and development to become a qualified roof plumber, or continue honing you skills as a qualified roof plumber , You will work alongside experienced professionals to learn all aspects of roof plumbing, from installation of multi unit sites to maintenance.

What you'll be doing

n

Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of metal roofing systems

n

Learn how to properly measure, cut, and fit roofing materials

n

Gain experience in the safe use of power tools and equipment

n

Develop an understanding of relevant building codes and regulations

n

Support senior plumbers with a variety of roof plumbing tasks

n

Participate in on-the-job training and attend relevant courses

n

managing a team (4th years & up )

n

problem solving

n

training apprentices ( 4th years & up

n

installation of metal cladding systems

n

What we're looking for

n

own licence is a must

n

own vehicle a must or able to get to Frankston by 6am

n

punctuality

n

own tools is a must

n

Demonstrated interest and passion for the trades industry

n

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety

n

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

n

Good communication and problem-solving skills

n

Physical fitness to perform the duties of the role

n

great work ethic

n

able to read plans and install metal roof to australian standards without supervision ( 4th year & up )
