We're expanding our team and looking for a Winding Operator to join our industry-leading transformer manufacturing facility. Whether you're an experienced winder or someone with strong technical aptitude who wants to learn a unique trade, this is an exciting prospect to step into a stable, rewarding role.

About the Role

n

As a Winding Operator, you'll play a key role in building the internal components of power transformers. Your craftsmanship directly impacts product quality, reliability and performance.

n

This is a day shift position (6:00am to 2:30pm), offering predictable hours, work–life balance and a steady routine.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Operating coil winding machines to manufacture transformer windings
n
- Measuring, cutting and layering copper or aluminium conductors
n
- Interpreting technical drawings and work instructions
n
- Maintaining high levels of accuracy, consistency and quality
n
- Working closely with production,



test and engineering teams
n
- Ensuring a safe, clean and organised work environment
n

Who We're Looking For

- No transformer experience? No problem – we'll train you.
n
- Mechanically minded or have hands‐on trade experience
n
- Detail-focused with strong pride in their work
n
- Comfortable in a workshop or manufacturing environment
n
- Reliable, proactive and eager to learn
n
- Winding coil experience would be highly regarded but not essential!
