Health, Safety, Security & Emergency (HSSE) Advisor - 12M Contract

About the Role:

n

We are currently seeking a hands on Health, Safety & Environment (HSSE) Advisor to complete & investigate HSSE audits across QLD.

n

Your day to day responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Day to day completion of HSSE audits on the iAuditor and/or any other relevant digital platform
n
- Investigate & correct issues found within the audit across all aspects of a United Petroleum sites -recommend and implement corrective actions
n
- Work closely with Commission Agents and Franchisees to ensure compliance in all areas to optimise organisational and strategic performance
n
- Monitor site compliance with various regulations in regard to safe working practices, Food Safety and Occupational Health and Safety
n
- Build a strong partnership with all relevant stakeholders within the United Petroleum group to support a continuous improvement culture
n

About You:

n

n
- Previous demonstrated experience as an HSSE Advisor, Auditor, or Investigator is highly desirable
n
- Experience within fuel retail or fast-food convenience environments would be highly regarded, but is not essential
n
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and relevant standards, including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and AS 1940, is highly desirable for success in the role
n




- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent industry experience) is essential
n
- High attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, is highly desirable
n
- Confident communicator with well-developed written and verbal communication skills is highly desirable
n
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills are required
n
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
n
- Willingness to travel regional that involves overnight stays (QLD)
n
