The Role

n

We're looking for an Intermediate or Senior Accountant who wants more than just compliance work.

n

You'll work directly with clients from day one, gaining exposure across a broad mix of accounting, tax and advisory.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Preparation of financial statements
n
- Preparation and lodgement of tax returns
n
- BAS and ongoing compliance work
n
- SMSF accounting and tax (experience desirable, not essential)
n
- Regular ATO liaison and correspondence
n




- Working directly with clients and responding to queries
n

n

About You

n

2+ years' experience in public practice (Intermediate) or 4–5+ years (Senior)

n

Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or equivalent

n

Strong understanding of Australian tax principles

n

Experience with Xero, MYOB, BGL or similar systems

n

Strong communication skills—you're comfortable dealing with clients

n

High attention to detail

n

Studying or completed CA / CPA / IPA (or willing to undertake)
