Senior Client Service Associate - Unit Trusts - initial 4-month contract

The Senior Client Associate is responsible for providing support to the Client Management team and deliver superior client service, ensuring all trustee obligations/operational activities are met in a timely manner

n

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in unit trust, managed funds, registry or client services experience from either a fund manager, custodian or fund services firms.

n

Initial 3-4 month contract with view to extend to 6m, or possibly go permanent

n

Key tasks and outputs

n

n
- Assist the Senior Manager and the Senior Client Service Managers in servicing the book of wholesale trustee clients
n
- Undertake assigned activities to ensure full compliance with trust obligations
n
- Administer trustee activities in accordance with policies and procedures
n
- Develop a sound understanding of the legal, regulatory, and operational frameworks in place that govern funds.
n
- Monitor and complete all compliance requirements for allocated clients/funds
n
- Manage payments with internal and external custodians
n
- Build & maintain operational relationships with allocated clients
n




- Ensure working knowledge of all clients "owned" by the team to provide back-up and operational flexibility
n
- Involvement in ad-hoc projects as required
n
- Manage and complete all allocated trustee obligations in compliance management system in a timely manner
n
- Assist with maintenance of data in compliance management system
n
- Assist in managing finance matters; including debtors, expenses and billing across the client management team including the collection and collation of data required
n
- Assist in the preparation of board reporting packs/memos
n
- Maintain key scheme documents records in accordance with Policy requirements, including maintaining central unit registry for wholesale trusts.

Education requirements

- Law / Business / Accounting / Economics degree required
n

n

Experience requirements

n

n
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Financial Services or related experience
n
- Excellent client management skills and experience
n
- Reasonable knowledge of fund structures
n
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks
n
