We've built a business around strong relationships, high standards, and a shared commitment to getting the job done right. As we continue to grow, we're investing in our people and culture just as much as the projects we deliver.
n
We're looking for an experienced HR Manager to help shape the people, culture and capability that drive our success.
n
The Role:
n
Reporting to the CEO and Operations Manager, you'll lead the HR function across the business and partner with leaders to support our people, culture and growth.
n
You'll balance strategic initiatives with hands-on HR support, helping create an environment where people can perform at their best and build rewarding careers.
n
This is a role for someone who enjoys being part of the conversation, not sitting on the sidelines.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
Provide trusted HR and employee relations advice to leaders and employees across the business.
n
Oversee the recruitment process and work with the Construction Managers to meet workforce resourcing requirements.
n
Manage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, induction, probation, performance reviews and offboarding.
n
Prepare employment contracts, contract variations, formal letters and other HR documentation.
n
Lead performance management, employee development and remuneration review processes.
n
Identify training and development needs and coordinate initiatives that build capability across the business.
n
Partner with leaders on workforce planning, succession planning and employee retention initiatives.
n
Develop and implement employee engagement activities that strengthen culture and retention.
n
Manage HR policies, compliance and employment matters, ensuring alignment with legislative requirements.
n
Lead HR projects and implement improvements to HR systems, processes and people practices.
n
About You:
n
You'll be an experienced HR professional who combines sound judgement with a genuine passion for people. You'll bring:
n
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience (construction industry experience highly regarded).
n
Minimum five years' experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within construction or a similar quick-paced environment.
n
Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice.
n
Proven experience managing HR operations across the employee lifecycle.
n
Experience managing employee relations, performance management and disciplinary matters.
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
n
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain attention to detail.
n
A practical, collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
n
If you're looking for an opportunity to influence culture, partner with leaders and make a genuine contribution to a growing business, we'd love to hear from you.
