Early Childhood Teacher – Camp Hill Kindergarten

Camp Hill Kindergarten is a community-based, not-for-profit organisation that has proudly served local families since 1944, celebrating 80 years of service in 2024. Affiliated with C&K;, our kindy is operated by a parent-elected Management Committee in partnership with two Co-Directors.
n
Nestled among leafy gardens and natural play areas, Camp Hill Kindy is a double-unit service offering five programs: four standard kindergarten groups and a pre-kindy program for three-year-olds. We embrace a play-based, emergent curriculum where children's strengths and interests shape team-oriented learning experiences, supported by intentional teaching practices.

The Opportunity
n
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Early Childhood Teacher to deliver a two-day kindergarten program (Thursday–Friday). This is a highly valued role, working closely with our Co-Directors and Educational Leader in a collaborative teaching environment.

Key Responsibilities
n
Deliver a high-quality, inclusive early childhood education program aligned with the EYLF and NQF
n
Maintain rich, holistic documentation of children's learning and development
n
Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
n
Create an environment that fosters belonging, curiosity, and community connection
n
Communicate meaningfully and authentically with children to support participation and learning
n
Engage with families through ongoing communication, meetings, and centre events
n
Contribute to a cohesive team environment through reflective practice and innovation
n
Confidently use technology to support teaching and administration
n
About You
n
Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent, ACECQA recognised)
n
Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (renewed annually)
n
Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide
n
Valid Blue Card and current Police Check
n
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training
n
You will bring a passion for achieving long-lasting, high-quality outcomes for children, their families and the community
n
Camp Hill Kindergarten is a child-safe organisation and all employees are required to undergo a Police check and not be a 'Restricted Person' or Suspended Educator under the QLD Blue Card System.
n
