Serving two primary markets – passenger vehicle and commercial truck – Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.

The Role

n

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Quality Manager is responsible for leading the Quality function and ensuring compliance with internal and external quality standards across Dana Australia.

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
- Leading and maintaining the Quality Management System
n
- Ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and IATF 16949 standards
n
- Acting as the key point of contact for customer and supplier quality matters
n
- Ensuring all Quality Assurance procedures and corporate guidelines are met
n




- Reviewing customer complaints and leading corrective actions to reduce risk of recurrence
n
- Providing quality leadership across production and new projects
n

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

n

n
- Tertiary qualifications in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline
n
- Significant experience in a quality leadership role within a manufacturing or assembly environment – preferable automotive or heavy vehicle industry
n
- Strong working knowledge of Quality Management System standards - preferably ISO9001 and IATF 16949
n
- Experience and formal training in leading or undertaking internal and external audits
n
- Proven ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
n
- Robust communication and problem-solving skills
n
- A high level of commitment, accountability and responsibility
n
- Excellent attention to detail and focus on quality outcomes
n
