The Opportunity

n

Working within a collaborative team, you'll take ownership of your own import shipments from booking through to final delivery. The role is predominantly Import Seafreight (approximately 90%), with occasional airfreight movements, giving you plenty of variety while allowing you to build robust relationships with customers, overseas agents and service providers.

Your Responsibilities

n

n
- Manage end-to-end Import Seafreight operations (FCL & LCL)
n
- Coordinate import bookings with overseas offices and agents
n
- Liaise with customers, customs brokers, transport providers and shipping lines
n




- Arrange cartage and monitor shipment milestones through to delivery
n
- Complete invoicing and operational documentation
n
- Maintain accurate shipment records in CargoWise
n
- Deliver exceptional customer service while managing multiple shipments
n

To be successful, you'll have:

n

n
- Previous experience in International Freight Forwarding
n
- Strong Import Seafreight operations experience
n
- Experience using CargoWise One
n
- Sound understanding of import procedures, Incoterms and transport coordination
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
- The ability to prioritise, multitask and work well within a team
n
