Due to growth, we're looking for a Medical Receptionist / Administrator to join our friendly team.

About the Role
n
This role is the first point of contact for our patients and supports the smooth running of the clinic.
n
n
- Greeting patients and managing check-in/check-out
n
- Answering phones and responding to enquiries
n
- Booking, confirming and rescheduling appointments
n
- Theatre bookings
n
- Processing payments, Medicare and health fund claims
n
- Updating patient details and managing electronic records
n
- Assisting with recalls, reminders and patient follow-up
n
- General administrative support for clinicians
n
- Providing additional cover for holiday and sick leave when required
n
n
About You
n
You'll be a warm,
organised and reliable team player who enjoys working in a busy medical workplace.
n
n
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or administrator
n
- Strong computer skills and ability to pick up new systems
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
- High attention to detail and accuracy with data entry
n
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
n
- A calm, caring and non-judgemental approach to patients
n
- Experience with Genie or similar Medical Software Package
n
- Knowledge of Medicare billing and referrals
n
- Experience in theatre bookings
n
n
