Site Foreman / Site Manager

We are seeking an experienced Site Foreman / Site Manager to join our team on a temporary contract for a major infrastructure project in Canberra. Due to changes in the project program and the need to mobilise two additional crews, we are looking for a capable site leader who can oversee day-to-day paving operations while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Supervise and coordinate paving works on site.
n
- Lead site crews to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to program.
n
- Maintain compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
n
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
n
- Coordinate plant, labour, and subcontractors to meet project objectives.
n
- Monitor site progress and resolve day-to-day operational issues.
n
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with project and client requirements.
n

About You

n

The successful candidate will have:

n

n
- Proven experience managing paving works on civil infrastructure projects.
n
- Strong understanding of construction safety and quality standards.
n
- Current Forklift Licence.
n
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.
n
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
n
- Willingness and ability to successfully complete a Certificate III medical assessment.
n
