About the Role

n

We are seeking a Contract Officer to join our team. This role will:

n

n
- Help us innovate to meet the challenges of our growing cities as a Contract Officer within the Operational Contracts team
n
- Play a key role in managing Contractors delivering key water, wastewater and stormwater maintenance programs and support services across Sydney Water's area of operations
n
- In addition to managing work delivery will be responsible for verification of payment claims, site inspections, customer and stakeholder management plus data analysis and reporting
n

About You

n

n
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering or Science, and/or 3+ years relevant contract / project management experience, and/or relevant water industry construction or maintenance experience
n
- Ability to form strong, positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, with a genuine customer focus
n
- Knowledge in contract and project management
n
- Good written and verbal communications skills
n
- Ability to apply time management principles to ensure timeframes are met.
n
- Commitment to drive safety improvements with our Contractors
n
- A current driver's licence is a requirement of this role
