About the Role

n

We are a small, well-established manufacturing business based in Acacia Ridge and are looking for an experienced TIG Welder to join our team on a full-time casual basis.

n

The successful applicant will be skilled in TIG welding aluminium and capable of producing high-quality work. As a small company, we are seeking someone who is flexible, takes pride in their work, and is willing to assist with a variety of tasks across the workshop when required.

n

No two days are the same, so a positive attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed are essential.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- TIG welding of aluminium components to a high standard
n
- Sheet metal fabrication and assembly
n
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
n
- Fabrication, fitting and finishing of manufactured products
n
- Assembly of mechanical components
n




- Packing completed products for dispatch
n
- General workshop duties and housekeeping
n
- Assisting with other production tasks as required
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role you will have:

n

n
- Proven experience TIG welding aluminium
n
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication
n
- Ability to work accurately from drawings and specifications
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
n
- Good problem-solving skills and a practical approach to work
n
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team
n
- A versatile, can-do attitude and willingness to perform a variety of workshop tasks
n

A trade qualification as a Sheet Metal Worker (Fabrication Tradesperson) is highly regarded but not essential. Applicants with extensive relevant industry experience are encouraged to apply.
