An opportunity exists for an experienced Product Support Specialist to provide OEM-level support across Hitachi's mining Excavator fleet. This role focuses on troubleshooting complex equipment issues, supporting field teams, and identifying national failure trends.

Your responsibilities include:

n

- Provide technical support for breakdowns and equipment performance issues.
n
- Assist branches and customers with fault-finding and failure investigations.
n
- Analyse equipment failures and identify recurring trends across the fleet.
n
- Support field service teams with technical guidance and recommendations.
n
- Conduct site visits as required to investigate complex issues.
n
- Share technical knowledge and lessons learned across the business.
n
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to improve equipment reliability and support outcomes.
n

About You – We want to hear from you if you possess the following qualities:

n

n
- Trade or technical background in mobile mining equipment.
n
- OEM experience (Preferred)
n
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capability.
n
- Experience with large mining excavators.
n
- Comfortable working autonomously and managing multiple technical issues.
n




- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both customers and internal teams.
n
