Front End Loader Driver / Yardman= Austmix Concrete

Location: Port of Brisbane

We are currently seeking an experienced Front End Loader Driver / Yardman for our mobile concrete batch plant located at Port of Brisbane, Qld. Key features of the role are:

Full Time role

n

Over time, meal allowances and penalty rates as per EBA

n

Requirements:

n

n
- Front end loader experience in concrete plant (Desirable)
n
- White Card (Desirable)
n
- Heavy Rigid License (Desirable)
n
- Strong Commitment to Safe Work Practices
n
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
n
- Willing and able to work night shifts and weekends (if required)
n
- Must be reliable, flexible and able to work within a small team
n

Key duties and responsibilities:

n

n
- Working closely with batcher to ensure continuous production
n




- Driving front end loader to keep batch plant full of materials
n
- Receiving and moving raw material deliveries into correct material bays
n
- Stock management and coordination of raw material deliveries
n
- Managing contractors carrying out site maintenance and repairs
n
- Yard and plant maintenance/ potential to also learn concrete batching and testing on site
n

- Be able to physically perform all duties associated with the position

- Be willing to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screening

- Roles in concrete plants are fast paced and will require you to be a robust problem solver. You must have the ability to remain calm under pressure, be results and customer focused, with a high level of attention to detail. The role is ready for immediate start.
