AAMG has partnered with a leading Tier 1 mining company to recruit an experienced Planning Superintendent to join their Brisbane-based team.

n

This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic maintenance planning professional to lead a high-performing team and drive long-term Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) maintenance planning across a large mining operation.

n

About the Role:

n

Reporting to the Group Manager – Asset Operations, Planning & Strategy, you will lead a team of 10 planners responsible for delivering long-term maintenance planning outcomes for a large HME fleet.

n

You will play a key role in developing maintenance strategies, optimising asset performance, and ensuring planning processes support safe, reliable, and efficient mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

n

- Lead and mentor a team of maintenance planners.
n
- Develop and oversee long-term maintenance plans for Heavy Mobile Equipment.
n
- Drive planning excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
n




- Collaborate with key stakeholders to optimise asset performance and fleet availability.
n
- Ensure planning activities align with operational and business objectives.
n

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Demonstrated experience in long-term maintenance planning within the mining industry.
n
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience leading planning teams.
n
- Strong working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (S4H) – this is essential.
n
- Experience with AMT4SAP (highly regarded but not essential).
n
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
n
