Our client is seeking a casual staff member for a temporary light assembly role located in Braeside. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team and build your skills in manufacturing and assembly.

About the Role

n

You will be responsible for assembling and fabricating components, performing quality checks, and meeting daily production targets. A positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work 5 days per week are essential. Experience using power tools will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Fabricate and assemble sub-assemblies and finished products to meet quality and quantity targets
n
- Complete 'stock build' orders from templates
n
- Safely operate hand and power tools
n




- Communicate effectively with team members and management (written and verbal)
n
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping
n
- Keep tools and instruments in safe and designated locations
n
- Follow quality policies and procedures
n
- Monitor and report on stock levels of components
n
- Follow all OH&S; and WorkSafe guidelines
n
- Read and understand work instructions for tasks
n

About You

n

n
- Previous experience in light manufacturing or assembly work
n
- Confident using hand and power tools
n
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
n
- Physically fit for manual tasks
n
- Full Australian working rights
n
